People frequently ask me what happens during a private session. In the past, I have relied on others to share their experiences of a session with me; I seemed unable to explain.
I am open and empty by design. When someone “invites” me to work, information begins to flow. I take their energy and mirror it within my body, and feel, or “know” what is going on for them. This process, done in session, in a sacred space, offers us both safety, as we both must be willing for this exchange to happen. This ability to take another’s energy in is a gift and I honor it; although as you might imagine, there were times as I matured, growing into this gift, where it seemed like an overwhelming burden. Now, instead, I use this gift to see with my heart.
Also, according the Human Design, I was born under the Cross of Obscuration. I mention this because it explains well, another of my gifts, which is the ability to track the obscure connections within an individual, that bring patterns to light.
I have not learned from “teachers”; Spirit has given me my techniques, over time, as I was ready for them. Having said that, I learn from all I meet, both human and animal, plant and mineral.
To me, a private session is like communion (which comes from the Greek word Koinonia, meaning: sharing, partnership, fellowship) and through this communion, as we both partake, we expand and are surely altered.
